#Skateboarding #Podcast #Interview
13:11 Annoyed Tony Hawk lol Birdman’s over talking about the 900
Oof “desecrating the people’s house” Lmao doesn’t age well
Tas papas should’ve been mentioned
I hadn't had ennough boarding culture in my life. Gratze
44:24 hang on, little dude.
2 years later and im still begging you for a Rob Dyrdek episode
I want to fit inn so bad..NO THANKS
I am a East coast skater from 80 and 90 this seems fake to me.I don't like it.SO LONG.GOODBYE
The wakeful sun intermittently wink because forehead preferentially fill upon a untidy february. savory, jumpy fly
I ate bagel bites when I was a kid because of this guy. Then I started skating. I dont know which one was more impactful.
Am i the only one who heard a girl moaning on 31:22 ???
When will tony age???
Tony is fkn awesome. The thsf is fucking phenominal.
Best podcast in the world
Shouts to tony
1:10:40 Lets get this going.. 9 club park?!
Are you going to make fun of yourself? When you are old and fat .
The Bagel Bites in the background xD
44:24
tony hawk on csi miami kim kardashian on csi new york wonder how new york came up with the idea (both did amazing job at their role)
What no bones brigade ??
1:46 looks like Jamie Thomas from where I'm standing
wtf was that at 31:23
You what was that sound at 31:22😳
Tony was doing FS 540's in 1981??
He was definitely talking about thps 1+2 during this when he said he has something in the works
THUG was the sole reason i got into skating and made my first real friend
First time I've ever heard Tony use profanity 1:53:03
God this interviewer is annoying. The inflection in his voice is so smug and fake sounding. Other than that, this was great! Lol
I love how he went out of his way to squash the notion of the mega ramp 1080 “not counting” - he did that with class and humility. Really gained more respect for him when he said it.
I thought tony was always loaded with cash. Maybe not...
1:13:37 ..and Tas. Regardless of All That...
One of my favourite because it's my first one episode I watched "The 100" one! And I never stop to watched your channel since then and discovery that I was somewhere a skate interest because of you ;-)! It's a really cool channel "The Nine Club" with a good humour and skate culture! Thank you Chris for your special tag line ;-) and his team! Big up from Belgium!
Tony is the fucking man!
This show really should be called "The Nice Club"
Being about to kick flip 540 is a trophy in itself..
Rodney mullen episode would be great
Not only was Tony hawk the most influential skater to me as a kid but the Tony hawk foundation built my hometown park here in Medford Oregon which continued my interest in skateboarding. So much love and respect for that guy man. Cheers.
He needs to make skate parks in England pleeeeease. Tony
31:23 is there someone moaning?
If you put a slappy curb around the loop, Rog would do it
I owe everything to Tony he changed my life
Can someone please explain what is happening at 31:22
Did anyone notice at 44:24 that the alien to the left of Chris hanging on the chocolate board fell partially?
The sock puppet does a wheel grab in this episode.
I gotta say, he hand wrote a postcard to me in 1988 at twelve years old, I'll always be a fan.
I knew Rodney gave his trophies away, I didn't know Tony did too. That's rad
We want Duane peters on here!!!
Collide worlds and get tony as a character on the new skate game!
God damn this guy is so cool.
I’m from the 80s era of the sport, we knew Tony was the shiz on vert along with the rest of the world, he deserved his reputation then and now. American legend, out of the bones brigade I favour Hawk, Mullen , Cab and Vallely, absolute legends
The bagel bites in the background 😂
Robbie Russo next
I remember I got hawk jeans in like 6th 7th grade that were my favorite jeans forever, they were so thin and soft were the best for skating when it was hot, and I was the same size from like 13-20something, but when I ripped those pants it was one of the most upsetting death of a form of clothing I ever had, but back when they had hawk clothing at Kohl's man those were the days
I was born in 93 and I remember 9/11 but I remember tony hawk on who wants to be a millionaire more vividly which is wild like I can still picture him at the end with the check for the tony hawk foundation and everything
Tony is a legend. I grew up watching him on TV. Tony, Bam Margera and Rodney Mullen will always be my top 3 favourite skaters :D
I thought Danny way landed the 900 first tho? In the same competition.
you just gotta love tony hawk
Great interview 🤘🤙🛹
Wow,,,,,, 44:23 pegged my Weird-Ass-Shit-Oh!-Meter or sure.... WTF¿
Tony hawk is such a legend and still so humble, amazing
You wanna learn how to spin? You better figure it out...on that cement. Lol
to be honest i dont even have a
At 35:54 the skatepark outside Chicago he is talking about is Grinding Edge skatepark in Orland Park, IL. It truly is/was awful. I was at the opening at there was a rumor going around that he said it was the worst skatepark he's even been to, and apparently that's now been proven true in this interview lol orlandpark.org/services/parks/skate-park
MumbleyJoe hahaha no it’s been free for a few years now I’m pretty sure, doubt it really even gets used anymore
I knew he was talking about that park when he said the snake run was a sidewalk. That park sucked. I wonder if you still have to pay to get in.
Was watching Joe Rogans interview, when he cut Tony off 24:00 in to speak about Coronavirus I needed to find a better interview
I want to see Jeremy Klein on the Nine Club one day, he's always silently behind the scenes of so much shit.
LET ME DO THE LOOP!
Crob is such a damn good interviewer/host, knows when to let the guest speak and go on tangents and always knows when and how to bring it back on track. Thanks for all you guys do even Rog and Kelly fit perfectly in the formula. Just please get Mullen on soon for a very long episode 👍
Joe Rohan should talk to tony hawk
I still play THPS on twitch. Would love to see more from Neversoft.
44:24
that's wild, THPS1+2 has been in the works to being a thing since 2017-2018?! that's dope
Everyone: *"do a 900"* *"do another console game"* Tony Hawk: "no" "can you move over there behind the camera?" Wow, what an asshole (Jk, calm down)
Can't wait for the pro skater re masters!! :o
I want to see someone do a 900 over a hip.
So, I'm really late to the game with this podcast but wow! I love this. These interviews put a smile on my face. Thank you for The Nine Club. Keep up the awesome work. God bless you guys.
Truly inspiring. Thank you Nine Club ! 🙌
Shot the shat
It's funny that Chris is always amazed that the guest remembers his first time on a skate. On every interview. Maybe he should realize that the fact he doesn't remember is the real oddity.
Looks at watch “We’re gunna go fight traffic on the way home”. Classic
EA Skate was awesome, glitches and all ;)
1:13:26 Tas Pappas?? anyone??
Really digging the cast Tony hawk 900 for life
Damn I wish I smoked crack
Chris knew very little about Hawk, it was weird. Half the world knew Tony got worked on that loop and broke his pelvis.. wtf were you ? Great episode though..
"... for free food!" Haha! :D
I discovered this show about two weeks ago, so far I have binged like 10 episodes, and it made me pick up my good ol deck back up and been skating daily for a week straight and have never felt better.
Crob could get lil billy from down the block whos still learning kickflips and he'd still say we have a super special special SPECIAL guest today lol
#SponsorMeDominos I don't skate (any more)... but I eat a lot of Pizza.
Dude is so humble and personable. Fuckin legend. The fact he still puts out footage is so dope.
Two and a half hours and you didn’t ask him why he used a lapper. 😂
They put bagel bites on the shelf fool them!!
1:02:43 alien noises lol
TAS PAPPAS GET HIM ON
Skaters are the cool white people on earth.
Time flies by watching these vids. Great stuff guys. I'm late, so I have a lot of catching up to do. So great listening to all these legends
This show is epic I found it the other day and every episode is super dope thanks for your effort man awesome!!!
Please get Jeremy Klein on. Just make sure to hide everything flammable first.
How can you not like Tony Hawk. His such an inspiring person.
Cool guy, Tony's hawk.
