  • Toto? I (apparently) got news for you pal? You are not the reason Mercedes is Number 1. Not even close. The fact Merc has spent more than any other team during the hybrid era is primarily why they are No.1. Yeah, you probably did a good job. But without the money? Merc would be nowhere. F1 is and almost always has been about money. beyondtheflag.com/2019/11/06/formula-1-current-team-budgets-175m-cap-impending/

    • @bsrlbck2013 Way to duck the question. I will ask it one more time: Based on the two links I provided above - which TEAM - not company, TEAM - spent the most in each of the two years listed on Formula One? If your first word is not 'Mercedes'? I am not wasting any more time on you. If you cannot admit this simple premise - your mind is closed and you are wasting my time on this. The choice is yours.

      McRocketMcRocketमहीने पहले
    • @bsrlbck2013 What are you talking about? I could care less what it costs them. My entire point is how much does each TEAM spend on F1 each season. Now here is a simple question for you. Based on the two links I provided above - which TEAM - not company, TEAM - spent the most in each of the two years listed on Formula One?

      McRocketMcRocketमहीने पहले
    • @bsrlbck2013 LOL...you are the one who needs to learn how to read. I provided TWO links from TWO different seasons. I provided both to highlight that Merc has the highest budget for the overall hybrid era. Try again.

    • Don't agree with this at all I'm afraid. Money alone doesn't buy success, see Toyota's entry for that. Also, from that site you quoted, look at Ferrari. Pretty much on Merc's par money-wise, but their performances have been all over the place. 2019 was only good because they effectively cheated. Toto is a large reason that Mercedes has so consistently dominant in all aspects of the sport. It may be a very long time before this level of excellence is ever seen again in this sport.

    • @bsrlbck2013 Racing Point, soon to become Aston Martin, have laid the ground work for moving forward with their continued challenges of the rules this year - for examples: - lets buy an existing winning vehicle (Mercedes 2019). - lets change tires during a red flag - Norris was not impressed In answering your point re: Aston Martins racing .... My understanding is that the cars used this year will be the cars used for 2021, so they will continue to use the 2019 Mercedes. It will be interesting how much of Aston Martin is in the 2022 car as Racing Point/Aston Martin will continue to challenge the rules. As costs are having to be reduced, how much of the future cars will be of their own construction. see youtube: Rival Bosses On Racing Point Penalty: 70th Anniversary Grand Prix for discussion on the challenge presented by Racing Point. Some of the representatives speak of the pride in the past of constructing your own vehicle - I believe those times are a changing with new team ownerships, new leadership at the top, and an overall desire of all parties to create a more competitive F1 while keeping costs down and not creating a circus.

How? I bet you a white dude who watched IR porn and is always salty about successful black dudes winning in life. hahahahaha.

    • @Yellow Tea pot HAHAHAHA, you're funny. Lewis got special treatment that year and that's why the points were even at the end of the season. But Alonso made Schumi retire, he forced Schumi to retire. Alonso is a real racer, while Lewis is a cry baby. When things dont go the way he wants, then he says that it's because "he's black". He loves to play this game all the time. I'm tired of his fake tears. He is a 35-year-old man and it's time for him to grow up and stop acting like a child.
