  • Is the Lewis Hamilton comment "Im losing the championship, so I dont really care", part of the reason Nico retired. I know it's kind of every man for himself out there, but that seems selfish for a teammate to say that. It would have definitely made it hard for me to help him in the future if that was his idea of a team.

  • Man, watching this back, how much stronger and dominant would the Mercedes juggernaut be if he didn't retire? Bottas is a respectable #2 who doesn't rock the boat, but if Nico stayed on until 2020, Mercedes would be absolutely untouchable. Well, only if he and Lewis didn't beat each other up on and off the track! 😆

  • Every body you can say what ever you want in 2016 but hamilton did not get beaten fair and square ..your hero rosberg has less wins than hamilton in that season with 10 to 9 even with hamiltons 4 bad starts and 1 dnf malasia he lost 25 points and at 4 circumstances he give rosberg the lead eventually the win only by 5 points ..5 points ...remember the last 4 races he didnt beat hamilton at all ...he only won by playing mind games

    natnael kassahunnatnael kassahunमहीने पहले
    • @natnael kassahun you are wrong in my opinion bottas will not beat like that to verstappen because verstapprn is really close of bottas whit a car much more slower and unreliable

    • @Mag ok i get your point know what losing to rosberg in 2016 is the best thing that could happen to him ....he now made him self completely mistake free and unbeatable(ayrton style to prost way)..if rosberg is this team mate now he will never beat him ..the man made his mind bullet proof....people always say get him a fast teammate bottas is heavily undeŕrated he is slow next to ham but if you give him a rookie team mate like max he will destroy them and people will go wild bottas is the best on the grid bla bla but next to ham he is a loser...and that is the case with max..

    • Let it go dude. What is done is done you can't go back in time & change stuff. It is not easy being in F1, even if you're rich. They still have to work for it. It's still risky even with all that safety. We saw it Bianchi and Hubert. So appreciate it. It's still mechanical sport anything could have happened to Nico , as well. You do remember last race in 2014, right no matter how far ahead Lewis , ws in points Nico didn't get a chance to close up in the last race. Mind games gets played even in you're work place & Athletes do it all the time. It's not like he secretly put some thing into the car to sabotage it. ☮️

  • Nico was an absolute legend. Wining WDC once is more pretious than winning it 4 times. The sad thing is he won at a cost. He lost a friend.

    KieranKieranमहीने पहले
    • To those fans i say... Why didn't Lewis win the races that Nico won when his engine was on terms.. Nico made Lewis the driver he is.. Lewis was better than Nico overall I think on talent alone by a whisker. But the whisker was too short and Nico won the championship fair.. ish. He used the rules to his advantage with Monaco and Belgium was a racing incident

      KieranKieranमहीने पहले
  • He knew he would never be able to do that again ... He just got lucky that year with Lewis his engine in Malaysia. But to be fair he was the only one who could win against Lewis, Bottas just does not have what it takes. He drives the best car in the field by far and stil can't beat Lewis with equal material.

  • Rosberg retired because to win the 2016 championship he worked so hard that he didn't even have time and had to sacrifice other things like his family, that's what it took to beat Hamilton. And as an LH fan, it was well deserved.

    Sandro SantosSandro Santos2 महीने पहले
    • @CrazyOrc talent wise I think Bottas might be a better driver than Rosberg. But Rosberg determination and Mental strength is on a different level. That's what separate champion and a sidekick or a number 2. Rosberg at 2014 abu dhabi is a great example of determination and relentless will to win. Of the 2 driver have beat Hamilton with the same car. Jenson Button and Nico Rosberg both of them have an edge in fighting spirit

      rockzs74rrockzs74rमहीने पहले

    • @lorddotorius It is true that Lewis matured a lot from 2016 but I think it is also true that Bottas cannot hold a candle to Rosberg. It never even gave a fight to Lewis, every year more and more boastful and every year fails miserably, they are not in the same category

      Marco DallaMarco Dallaमहीने पहले
    • @lorddotorius aaaand all of that is pure speculation, saying a driver magically became that much better after a year of al loss, OR that Rosberg is just far better than Bottas, which is really the more likely one with the facts present. This is coming from someone who thinks Hamilton is undoubtedly one of the best drivers of all time by the way, my esteem of him has nothing to do with this analysis.

      CrazyOrcCrazyOrcमहीने पहले
    • I recommend you watch Aldas' video "Why Losing to Rosberg in 2016 Was the Best Thing to Happen for Hamilton" The Hamilton we got in 2017 onwards is on a different level from what he was in 2016 and prior, comparing Bottas to Nico based on that is just dumb
