  • Except that the techno and rapid cut-n-pan pacing here is annoying and does not allow appropriate contemplation for the moody style.

  • Unfortunately, and with the highest respect to this man, a new photographer will come, once this pandemic is subdued. And when then time comes they'll present the with either videos, and or pictures that are just as horrific, if not more. Please take care, and thanks for providing the information.

  • I can see why he didn’t like critics trying to decipher meaning from them. The man went through so much horrid shit in his life so it’s only natural he’d use art as his mode of therapy. It’s so hard to even approach that topic let alone discuss it in length. This did the speaking for him via the feelings it conveys through it

  • his art is cool as fuck, in my opinion. even when he made digital art, it was so unique and cool. i love the details and the architecture incorporated into his art. its sad his life was ripped away due to a $100. money truly is the biggest source of evil.

  • in Poland there's a film about him and his family. it's called "ostatnia rodzina", which means "the last family". it shows how death was taking away members of his family one by one and finally only him lasted. on the other hand the film tells us about beksinski's son, who was mentally sick and finally committed suicide. I personally got to know beksinski because of that film and now I can't look at his works not thinking about his story...

  • I hope someone paints or take photos of him and make it into an art like how he would do his... I would love to see that depictions of how he was murdered and and to why he was and how he has changed the art of photography in the art world like his art or it doesn't need to be exactly like his but to make it obvious it is for him and his artist way drew or photographeds like for his memories and being greatful to him and how he changed how we see and can change the way we decipher our own way of art, anyways if I don't see any of this I would probably do it myself and post it online if I'm still alive and cancer doesn't eat my life or maybe after all my treatment coz chemotherapy f-ed up my immune systems and have lack of energy, I wish to do it but I hope to see others would try it for celebrating his accomplishments and his new way of the art given us and tells the world there is no lid or filters in the art world....

What is your “civilization and progress” if its only outcome is hysteria and downgoing? What is “government and law” if their ripened harvests are men without sap? What are “religions and literatures” if their grandest productions are hordes of faithful slaves? What is “evolution and culture” if their noxious blossoms are sterilized women? What is “education and enlightenment” if their dead-sea-fruit is a caitiff race, with rottenness in its bones?

  • I've been a huge fan of Zdvislaw Beksinski since I was first introduced to his work at nine years old, I'm twenty three now. Four years ago I found a first edition copy of his art book from the 70s for 12 dollars - It has since been appraised for over 1,000. The presence of his work is otherworldy. I still look at his paintings almost every single day.

  • "He had nothing else to say in that art form"...…..wow. That hit me differently. The overall themes in these paintings looks like a battle of spirituality and the possibility of something or nothing beyond the haze of the backgrounds of the paintings. just beautiful.... ....But none of that matters.... Thank you for the video, my friend

  • He makes me feel proud to be Polish and has always inspired me. I dont know what it is but whenever I look at his art I feel like i know him and I also feel emotions I cant really explain. Im 16 and ive been around art my whole life, being an artist myself and the things he created have an affect on me that no other artist ever had. Theres a ton of things i can say about all of this but I dont know if words can really express that . also, i cant believe he got murdered practically on my birthday 21.02.2005 by getting stabbed..... oh and this video is really well made. thank you

  • "In this sign, thou shalt conquer".... I was first used by Emperor Constantine, in reference to the "cross". He was the first of the"Christian Roman Emperors", and was the one who originated using the Cross as the symbol representing Christianity (in place of the Fish, or Anchor etc). The Cross, besides being the symbol of ultimate sacrifice "of the son to the father", but also resembles a sword sticking out of a slain soldier. Keep in mind, all of Europe was conquered under that symbol (then the New World as well). It's not a wonder, that the Nazis would continue on with that typography.... using their "broken cross", which represents "Thor's hammer" in Norse tradition, and "the totality of everything" in Hindu traditions (among other things).
