How did Maldonado break his nose in the crash with Hamilton😂
Fernando is the true champion.
Do 2011
What's the music at 14:05 for the Valencia / European GP?
@Prince Hip hop 2012 was kinda the Ferrari underdog story. A lot of people were rooting for Alonso. That car was a donkey that was 2.5 seconds off the pace and yet he was able to fight and get podiums with that. I was so heartbroken for Fernando.
VSC was first introduced in 2015 how in the world did they have it in 2012
It was used in multiple races in 2014 actually. Trialed first at the US Grand Prix and tweaked further at Interlagos
This video ages like fine wine 🔥🔥
The last great season. There have been some decent ones since, but not many drivers/cars capable of winning races.
nah you were right the first time. nothing like this since. 2017 was closer
That voice and that background music at the beginning, for a moment it was like i've been watching the Netflix series Narcos hahaha
That’s what I’m going for haha
Thank you... everyone can see your hard work you put into your passion. From a fan of motor sport, shearing it with my daughter is amazing...when she sees the drama, passion and energy from people who love fast cars is a bond that will last her and her children's lives..
That Lotus was magic!
22:10 that's 2014
Fernando really showed how fast he was pushing that truck to contend for a championship. Like what Leclerc did in 2020, just didn't contend for the title.
It would've been so much easier to follow if you mat hed the driver standings and constructed standings with the same colour, great video nonetheless but alot of looking at wikipedia yo see who's driving for who 🤣
Back in between January and Septemer 2012 everyone thought Michael Schumacher to return Ferrari.
2000 is my favourite season but 2012 is a close second

it is amazing grosjean had a f1 seat for as long as he has lol
Six former champs and only one future champ among that whole 2012 line-up as we roll into 2021...and they rigged it for him to win. Be interesting to see a race-by-race analysis of that year as it played out. Dictated by the need to sell more cars in Germany, using a German driver in that German car. I think that since then, they`ve wanted to sell more cars in Finland, but their main driver was having none of it, putting himself in an unassailable position to make sabotage a suicidal avoidance by the team. I kept a keen eye on particular team orders and strategy switches during critical phases, when it could be seen that `luck` switched back and forth during races one year especially, otherwise I think we could well have seen car sales rocket in Fin. This year really saw the end of the threat and we should really be seeing another Brit in that seat for 2021, as I predicted he was the man for the job and champion-in-waiting, well before that fine driver stepped in for the man-flu main driver :)
Your vids are always informative
Thing is, Perez, Schumacher and Grosjean should’ve won races this season
Crashjean does not have the talent for winning.
Excellent Video Brother, Love it, It was like watching an F1 Movie!!
Iss not grend prix iss grand prix
1:25 a vsc? Those dient exist in 2012
After seeing Lewis smack everyone upside down with Mercedes, you can clearly see how professional and competent Mercedes is, especially when compared to Mclaren. The amount of gearbox issues, engine issues and just mechanical faults Lewis had at mclaren is unreal
10:35 is that *Toto Wolff*

I think 2021 may be just as good as 2012 hopefully. Driver pairs are stacked, Mclaren getting a new Mercedes engine, Alonso comes back. Let's just hope it lives up to my expectations
Came back to this vid after the 2020 season. The season wasn't bad. The midfield was the closest it's been in years, 2 surprise winners, Ferrari's fall from grace, Lewis' 7th title and statistically becoming the greatest driver of all time, Grosjean fireball crash, some of our favourite tracks returning to the calendar and unfortunately Covid- 19 impact on the sport. The only thing missing from this year was a title fight. After seeing this vid and the 2012 season once again, i really hope 2022 can provide us with this level of entertainment.
Great Season! Only few tenths between the cars! 8 different winners. That's how F1 should be. Nowdays you see Mercedes 0.8 sec faster than the 2nd best car.
It's not pronounced Grand pri, it's pronounced Graun Pri. Why do Americans always say Grand?
Cheating in Monaco in Britain in Japan in Abu Dhabi...Troughout the whole year...I would never want to win anything with that many cheating
If old man Enzo was still around we'd see and entirely different Ferrari. Heads would be rolling if he were to magically return to see what his Scuderia has ended up becoming. The heads of the company all on the chopping block. Because ferrari, though loving his roads cars cared more about his racing team. And today the company and its heads are the exact opposite.

I continued watching this from half way Im stoned as hell, and have no idea what the colours mean on the championship standings. My OCD is kicking in Jack
@CYMotorsport its an excellent vid non the less, thank you for the endless binge watching during off season
Lol well I’m willing to bet your brain can work it out push come to shove
great vid, excellent walkthrough but the chart colours could do with some work
This video was more entertaining than the whole 1.6 era
14:28, there was no VSC in 2012. Also, wtf is going on with your colours in the driver/constructors standings......
I know. And that second question is impossibly vague. Try again and I’ll give you some clarity if you’re looking for it
please make a video on Incedible 2020
For sure !
19:25 had a case of deja vu watching that.
"Actually"
Grosjean escaped death because of the Halo
I actually forgot what happened most of the season even though I watched each GP
there was no vsc in 2012...

2012 Formula 1 Champioship I can’t un-see it
Thank you, I really enjoyed it. Your hard work shone through.
The question I ask myself! Whether or not Vettel could win another WDC! I want to say he still has the ability to match Fangio or possible beat him by one. I hope Vettel can
20:20 gives me chills. There is something wrong with that guy, thanks be no one got killed.
I wish we have this kind of F1 back...
2022 and beyond my friend
Thanks for the video... What is the effect you use on the pics... I like it...
“Grosjean is trash, he needs to get out of F1”... this year was the grosjean i know🔥🔥
@Oisin White I know!! That’s why I said it... people nowadays don’t look what he achieved in the past, just like seb, they both achieved podiums and also much podiums, grosjean has more podiums than Hulkenberg, Russel & Pérez combined
He is not trash. He is one of my best drivers
I miss the V8 era...
And Perez now is a race winner
Can we say that 2020 has topped every season in F1
Very well written and narrated video!
Thought this was the first video I've watched from this channel only to realize I've actually watched half of dozen over the past year.
I think 2010 was better because it has more competition for the title but the start of 2012 was just phenomenonall
Someone please identify the list of music used in this video love them so much
@CYMotorsport wooooo thanks man, really appreciate your effort , SUBSCRIBEDDDD
I’ll go through and update a set list. This was when I had like 10,000 subs and hadn’t yet been a partner with my current music provider but I still hold the licenses I’ll post them next week

10:35 i just noticed Toto Wolff at Williams
Nice video, thank you. Unfortunately the championship point bars are completely off in many cases which makes it difficult to understand the gaps and where the drivers are at relative to one another.
Awesome content. Loved it.
Grosjean cutting left to right without being totally clear is now a sad pattern
while watching this video i got an ad with chinese text and it lead me to a chinese website which i can't read i'm from the uk and i can't read chinese wtf?!
Indeed this was epic! Thanks for this compilation. :)
At 28:44 you said Hamilton is two points behind his teammate (Webber). That's not his teammate.
Thank you! Excellente vidéo. I did not know how close was the championship. Beau travail!
another video that makes me question how roman has a spot on any team still
this video gave me chills
I’m glad to hear! ... I think haha
Yet another great video. Awesome to see a fellow American with a great knowledge of F1. Would be awesome to see more content on the 80s, 90s, and 00's eras of F1. I am probably older than you, but those decades produced some AMAZING racing, some incredibly advanced car technology, and some legendary engines. Again, a fine job sir! Team 'Murica!!! 😂 😂
Nando fanboys : "Alonso is the BEST driver ever!" Fernando : Has a 44 point lead halfway through the the season... Loses title. Me : The "Best driver" doesn't allow a 50 point swing in the back half of the season and end up losing the title. 🤷♂️ Yeah, I agree he's a great driver. But I wouldn't even put him in the top 10 of all time. My top 10, in no particular order of who was better than who because of different eras and totally different cars. Jim Clark Juan Manuel Fangio Jackie Stewart Alain Prost Ayrton Senna Michael Schumacher Lewis Hamilton Sebastian Vettel Niki Lauda Graham Hill I'd also rate Stirling Moss, Nelson Piquet, and Mika Hakkinen above Alonso. I realize this may cause controversy - but I don't think anyone can come up with a clear - cut DEFINITIVE argument that Alonso is better than any of these drivers listed... On the other hand, I really can't DEFINITIVELY claim he was not as good as some of these drivers. It's my opinion... And I realize people will disagree. I'd love to hear reasons why I'm wrong about certain drivers... But if you're just gonna say things like "omg he rated ______ ahead of Alonso what an idiot!" then your comment has literally zero value whatsoever. I am also-ran not old enough to have seen anyone prior to Piquet actually race - but I am old enough to remember Piquet and how amazing he was with his car control, and" how the hell did he do that? "overtakes. Again - just my opinion. Doesn't make me right. Doesn't make you right. Doesn't make either of us wrong if you disagree. Debate and discussion are great... Idiots who just shit post and not make any actual points are to be disregarded completely. Now, please tell me who I got wrong, and why.
@Zameer Nizam I don't think he necessarily out drove the Ferrari, but I can't really say he didn't either. I always think constructors points are the best reflection of how good a car is - and obviously that's not a 100% guaranteed way to evaluate it, but I think it's the best way. That's because you have to also consider who was driving each car - For example, in 2010 and 2011 Ferrari was 3rd in team points... And McLaren was 2nd. But McLaren had Lewis Hamilton and Jensen Button... While Ferrari had Massa as the 2nd driver. Jensen button is a much better driver than Felipe Massa... So I think it's easy to think that if Jensen drove the Ferrari with Alonso, Ferrari would have beat McLaren. It's not exactly scientific, but nothing is when it comes to comparing drivers and teams or their cars. Ferrari was 2nd in 2012 and that's with Massa as 2nd driver - so I think the Ferrari was definitely a better car in 2012. Not by much, but the Ferrari cars definitely weren't terrible. In 2013 Mercedes came in 2nd and Ferrari 3rd... Mercedes also had Schumacher - who was old, but was definitely not a bad driver. His time off hurt him, but he's Michael Schumacher. Mercedes also had Nico Rosberg, who's the only driver to consistently beat Lewis multiple times per year and Nico had a World Title and beat Lewis in the process. I think people forget that Rosberg had like a 30-40 point lead on Lewis going into the final 3 races and had outperformed Lewis all year in 2016. So a combination of Rosberg and Schumacher is a much better combination than Alonso and Massa - only because Massa was never that great. Again that's my opinion. Fernando came in 2nd in the drivers standing all 4 years which is a damn good record - but I don't think he had a terrible car by any means. Honestly, if he had a better teammate who could have helped him more Ferrari could have been 2nd to Red Bull all 4 years. Those Red Bull cars were just incredible and unbeatable. So in summary, sure Alonso may have done "better than he should have" in a few races each year... But this year Gasly won a race in a Toro Rosso. Or alpha whatever they are called now... So those things happen. Basically all 4 years Alonso was with Ferrari in 2010, 11,12,and 13... He had the 2nd best car for sure at least once - and probably at least 1 or 2 of the other 3 years. People always say Schumacher was washed up when he raced with Merc - but he also won Mercedes 1st pole since the 50s and it wasn't a weird, turkey gp /Lance Stroll type pole in weird weather. His Merc was simply the fastest in quali that day. Those Ferrari cars Alonso drove weren't fantastic, because they didn't win the title. But even Massa got some podiums... Although he was mostly finishing 12th or 9th, even in races Fernando won. That shows Alonso is definitely a great driver - but if one driver is winning pretty often and the other driver only gets a podium 3 times a year and usually finishes 8th or something like that - it means your 2nd driver is shit. Not the car is shit. Lol
I personally think Alonso is far better than vettel. I can't really argue against the drivers before Schumacher's era as I've never seen them drive and got to witness how talented they are, as all I've got to go off of them, is how much ppl have rated them. But anyways onto seb, don't get me wrong I LOVE seb, I think he's a quality driver, but I don't think u could put him above Alonso. Seb has got beaten by 2 rookie drivers, ricciardo and leclerc (and while u could argue oh Alonso did too, the points gap was much closer, well it was equal between Alonso and Hamilton. But vettel actually got beaten quite significantly by ricciardo in 2014, and last year got beaten by leclerc by about 20 something points). That's not really my main arguement tho. The main thing is that seb threw away 2 world championships in 2017 and 2018. While u said how come Alonso lost despite 50 points lead, vettel threw away 2 world championships purely by his mistakes, when he had as equally competitive machinery as Hamilton. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Alonso most definitely did not have equally as competitive machinery compared to red bull. The only reason a Ferrari was fighting for the tittle was because Alonso was driving it. Alonso also was the man who beat schumacher, and that holds some significance to me. Alonso rarely makes mistakes (and has a proven track record of outdriving his machinery) while we have seen quite the contrary from seb in the last 3 years, as he's made toooo many mistakes. I can't really argue against other drivers, but Alonso would most definitely be top 10 for me. Anyways I'm interested to hear your response and I have to say I love your straightforwardness when it comes to the replies you want haha. Means we can have a good convo hopefully By the way I am a massive Alonso fan, but I do think Hamilton is better as he equalled/beat him on his rookie season which is insane to me. So hamitlon rn would be better than Alonso. I think potentially leclerc and verstappen could be better than Alonso, as they have the talent to be on par with Hamilton, but thats just speculation tbh. Other than that I think Alonso is better than any driver in the last 20 years (asside from Schumacher). And I'm only commenting on the last 20 years as that's the era I know and care about tbh.
Didn't Alonso have a shit Ferrari during those 4 years. He was practically outdriving his car want he? Please correct me if I'm wrong
it's hard listening to this guy, a bit robotic
It was the most dramátic F1 season of its decade. There was more dramátic seasons in the history as 1982 season.
Thanks for the video!👍
*And people still say vettel isn’t a legend.....*
High nose cars were ugly
Good job with the video it was crazy
I'm not a fan of perez. He's the kind of guy that can't take blame and it annoys me
